Digital and Design Technologies

The exciting learning in Digital and Design technologies has continued at Norwood Primary School. Each year students engage in a variety of new technologies and use a range of other technological tools to enhance learning experiences. Students use online tools and a 3D printer to design products and apply creative thinking to challenges.

Staff and students continue to work with a specialist teacher to further explore the digital world and integrate Digital and Design Technologies into learning activities. This includes using Ozobots, Beebots, online coding, engineering design challenges, 3D printing, Stop Animation, Lego NXT and Robotics. Students face “real world” problems and work towards creating new and innovative solutions.
